Job description
The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will collaborate with a global team of Software Engineers to create high-quality applications for the financial trading industry. This role emphasizes database development and requires a strong desire for continuous learning and growth. The developer will be part of the Securities Finance Technology team, focusing on Stock Borrow Loan and Fully Paid Trading products. The position requires a mix of technical skills and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with others.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer.
- Strong RDBMS skills including SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and managing user privileges.
- Experience in data analysis, problem-solving, and design skills.
- Knowledge of ETL processes for loading large volumes of data.
- Experience in a Linux environment and familiarity with basic Unix commands.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Core Java, Python, and scheduling tools like Control-M is a plus.
- AWS Cloud experience is a plus.
- 5+ years working in the financial industry is a plus.
- Understanding of financial industry terminologies.
