Job description

The Senior Engineer will lead the technical efforts in deploying advanced AI agent frameworks and local runtimes on Windows and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs. This role focuses on ensuring that open-source AI agents operate locally, safely, and efficiently on consumer PCs. The engineer will collaborate with internal AI research teams and the OpenClaw community to create a robust ecosystem for autonomous agents. The position emphasizes building a technical roadmap for self-evolving AI assistants while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Staff or Lead Architect role.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of Windows OS internals, process isolation, sandboxing technologies, and system-level security architecture.
  • Proven understanding of LLM inference pipelines and GPU-accelerated computing.
  • Practical experience with modern AI orchestration and agentic frameworks.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, particularly C++ and Python.
  • Experience building virtualization, containerization, or robust sandboxing tools for the Windows ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead engineer for developing the agent frameworks natively on Windows environments.
  • Build the technical roadmap to bring always-on, self-evolving AI assistants to GeForce RTX PCs and laptops.
  • Lead the engineering efforts to optimize the agent runtimes for Windows.
  • Ensure that autonomous agents operate within detailed, policy-based privacy and security frameworks.
  • Partner closely with internal AI research teams, driver teams, and the open-source OpenClaw community.
  • Foster a collaborative engineering culture by mentoring other engineers and establishing guidelines for AI agent deployment.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
