The team combines automation algorithms, deep learning models, and agentic workflows to enhance design automation. The role involves working on both pre-silicon and post-silicon custom circuit design projects. Candidates will have the opportunity to innovate and build AI solutions for VLSI design problems.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Combinatorial Optimization, Agentic AI, and large language models.
  • Experience in Machine Learning for Chip Design and EDA.
  • Background in Algorithms and Data Structures.
  • Experience in Applied Math, Machine Learning, and Software programming with proficiency in Python and C++.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a multi-functional team on various projects involving custom circuit design and related data.
  • Research and implement techniques on frontier solutions of electronic design automation.
  • Build and innovate agentic AI solutions for VLSI design problems.
  • Analyze problems or datasets, raise and validate hypotheses, and design and build models and algorithms until they reach the desired quality of results.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
