Job description
As a member of NVIDIA's Mixed Signal Design Validation team, you will focus on the bring-up and characterization of high-speed mixed-signal circuits and perform system validation of electro-optical transceivers. The role requires developing and implementing tests, debugging issues, and analyzing lab data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize circuit performance and train new engineers in validation practices. This position is ideal for someone passionate about technology and innovation in AI computing.
Requirements
- A BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and the use of lab instrumentation.
- In-depth technical knowledge of fundamental analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Proficiency in Python, Git, MATLAB, and JMP.
Responsibilities
- Build validation test suites for high-speed I/Os and analog circuits.
- Conduct detailed characterization of circuit blocks across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
- Lead and drive the debugging of technically challenging issues.
- Provide feedback to analog circuit designers regarding silicon performance.
- Build and run test scripts to optimize overall system performance.
- Develop tools and scripts to support electrical characterization and chip bring-up activities.
- Take ownership for training new engineers in validation practices.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
