Job description
In this role at Apple, you will be part of the dynamic Product Operations team, leading the Operations technical team during the development and high volume production of next generation products. You will collaborate closely with multiple multi-functional teams to ensure product success throughout all phases of development. As a senior technical advisor, your focus will be on enabling operational success and managing cross-functional teams. This position requires a strong background in quality management and technical domains related to consumer electronics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of quality experience in New Product Introduction, Design Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Strong statistical and data analytics skills, including statistical process control and sampling methods
- Experience partnering with off-shore manufacturers and high volume production
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and communicate clearly
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Operations technical teams during product development and high volume production
- Partner closely with Engineering throughout the lifecycle of product development
- Utilize data-driven and results-oriented approaches to problem solving and failure analysis
- Manage functional engineering teams and drive multi-functional collaboration
- Focus on solving complex manufacturing assembly quality issues using data forensics
