The Software Development Engineer will join the AWS Cloudscape team to develop intent-based user experiences for the AWS Management Console. This role involves designing, building, and operating systems that impact AWS service builders. The engineer will work across the full stack, utilizing GenAI technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Design and own end-to-end systems, spanning backend services, APIs, and frontend integration.
• Build and evolve GenAI-powered services that support intent-based UX generation, validation, and automation workflows.
• Contribute to long-term technical vision and architecture decisions.
• Balance short-term delivery with scalable, maintainable system design.
• Work directly with AWS builders community and internal teams to understand needs and translate them into robust solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence through instrumentation, automated testing, and pipeline-based deployment.
• Engage the AWS builders community and stakeholders in the various Cloudscape organization.
• Participate in on-call rotations and monitor operations and business metrics dashboard.
