Job description
The Program Manager and Analyst role at AppleCare involves contributing to capital planning cycles and operational governance within the Project Portfolio Management team. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual to guide business tracks through the capital planning lifecycle and manage foundational governance programs. Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in project/program management, PMO operations, or business process re-engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional planning cadences and guide stakeholders through idea evaluation.
- Hands-on experience establishing or managing governance processes and compliance audits.
- Proven track record of tracking and reconciling contractor purchase orders and spend.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and experience with enterprise portfolio tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Guide business tracks through the capital planning lifecycle and coordinate project idea intake.
- Evaluate project submittals and facilitate weekly planning forums.
- Steward foundational governance programs including tracking contractor purchase orders.
- Manage cost-savings and innovation initiatives and lead post-project lessons-learned reviews.
- Coordinate the annual Enfold compliance audit.
- Partner closely with product owners on testing and user validation for the internal portfolio management platform.
- Identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into daily workflows.
