Job description
The Program Manager and Analyst role at AppleCare involves contributing to capital planning cycles and operational governance within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) team. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual to guide business tracks through the capital planning lifecycle and manage foundational governance programs. Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in project/program management, PMO operations, or business process re-engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional planning cadences and guide stakeholders through idea entry and evaluation.
- Hands-on experience establishing or managing governance processes, compliance audits, or continuous improvement programs.
- Proven track record of tracking and reconciling contractor purchase orders and spend against allocation.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and practical experience with enterprise portfolio tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience required.
- Experience with annual capital planning or resource allocation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Guide business tracks through the capital planning lifecycle, coordinating project idea intake and evaluating submittals.
- Facilitate weekly planning forums and manage foundational governance programs.
- Track contractor purchase orders and manage cost-savings and innovation initiatives.
- Lead post-project lessons-learned reviews and coordinate the annual Enfold compliance audit.
- Partner closely with product owners on testing and user validation for the internal portfolio management platform.
- Identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into daily workflows to drive continuous improvement.
