Job description
Arcadis is seeking an Entry-Level Geologist or Engineer to join their Resilience Environment team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role emphasizes mentorship and professional growth, with a focus on both field and office work. Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science in Geology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Master of Science degree in Geology, Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
- Current MSHA 40-hour surface and underground training.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing geotechnical and hydrology instrumentation installation oversight.
- Conduct fieldwork including site inspections, drilling/well installation oversight, and soil and groundwater sampling.
- Perform office work such as task coordination, data compilation, and technical report writing.
- Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, hydrologists, and geologists on relevant project work.
- Support National emergency response teams to ensure rapid protection of human health and the environment.
