Job description
The Corporate Derivatives desk at Goldman Sachs focuses on providing hedging solutions for corporations, financial sponsors, and financial institutions in the Americas. This team is part of the Capital Solutions Group within Investment Banking and collaborates closely with Global Markets and Classic Investment Banking. The primary goal is to help clients manage market exposures related to interest rates, foreign exchange, and credit. The role involves engaging with clients to develop tailored solutions and innovative ideas for managing derivatives portfolios.
Requirements
- Strong academic record with a Bachelor's or advanced degree is required.
- 1-2 years of prior relevant experience with Global Markets products and multinational corporations, preferably in FX.
- Quantitative and analytic reasoning skills along with problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- A strong interest in finance, investment banking, and foreign exchange is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide FX and interest rate hedging solutions to clients.
- Prospect and onboard new clients to Goldman Sachs Corporate Derivatives.
- Propose and execute innovative ideas to manage existing derivatives portfolios.
- Utilize knowledge of corporate finance, derivatives, and capital markets.
- Prepare and analyze derivative pricing models and financial statements.
- Interact with clients and other groups within Goldman Sachs.
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials.
