As a Qualcomm Cellular Technologies Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, standardizing, implementing, verifying, and validating advanced cellular technologies. You will work on 5G/6G base-station L1 modem PHY layer software for Qualcomm's proprietary processors. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality air interface and modem performance. You will also have opportunities to lead software architecture and contribute to system integration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 8+ years of experience with computer architecture or embedded systems.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• 1+ year of experience in the wireless, semiconductor, or embedded software industry.
• Required knowledge of C, C++, Python, real-time operating systems, and multi-threaded programming.

• Leverage expert Wireless WAN Modem Software knowledge to design and implement wireless air interface and modem technologies.
• Design, optimize, and implement software for critical wireless systems and modems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop high-quality air interface and modems that meet performance and cost requirements.
• Guide cross-functional efforts to design products that meet customer requirements and standards.
• Own complete unit-level verification for sub-systems and oversee software integration into platforms.
