Job description
The Senior Manager role in the Life Sciences Consulting practice at EY focuses on leveraging real-world data and evidence to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. This position involves leading client engagements and developing strategies that generate measurable business and clinical value. The individual will work closely with clients to design and execute Real World Evidence strategies throughout the product lifecycle. The role requires a recognized industry leader with expertise in evidence generation and late-phase research programs.
Requirements
- An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific, public health, health economics, epidemiology, or related discipline is required.
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or consulting environments is necessary.
- Significant experience in Real World Evidence, Real World Data, epidemiology, outcomes research, or related evidence-generation functions is essential.
- Experience leading evidence-generation programs for large pharmaceutical organizations is required.
- Proven experience supporting business development and developing client relationships is needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements focused on real-world data and evidence generation.
- Serve as a strategic leader for the Real World Evidence practice by defining and scaling service offerings.
- Advise pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients on evidence strategies supporting development, regulatory, market access, and commercial objectives.
- Design and implement evidence-generation programs using real-world data sources.
- Support business development activities, proposal creation, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and industry leaders.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and deliver additional value.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery excellence.
- Contribute to publications, conference presentations, and other forms of external thought leadership.
