Job description

The Senior Manager role within the Life Sciences Consulting practice at EY focuses on optimizing clinical development and trial operations for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations. This position involves leading large client engagements and advising executive stakeholders on clinical trial execution and operational strategies. The individual will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact solutions and support business growth across the clinical development lifecycle. The role requires a deep understanding of clinical operations and the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable business solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, PhD, RN, or other relevant scientific degree
  • 10+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or life sciences consulting organizations
  • Significant experience supporting or leading clinical trial operations
  • Experience working directly with clinical sites, investigators, and study teams
  • Knowledge of GCP requirements and clinical research processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead key workstreams and large-scale client engagements related to clinical development and clinical operations.
  • Advise clients on clinical trial execution, site management strategies, patient recruitment, and study performance optimization.
  • Develop recommendations to improve clinical development operating models, processes, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality client outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Support business development activities and contribute to proposal development and thought leadership.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, evolving regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies impacting clinical development.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
