As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technology innovation, designing and developing embedded and cloud edge software for next-generation products. You will work collaboratively with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to create system-level software solutions that meet customer needs. This role requires a strong background in embedded software development and proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++. You will also leverage AI code-assist tools and engage in hands-on development to solve complex problems.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficient in writing code in C/C++ and familiarity with Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with embedded development and debugging tools, as well as operating systems like FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux, and Android.
• Experience developing software for GNSS receivers and location-based systems.

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system-level software solutions.
• Utilize AI code-assist tools in resource-constrained embedded software environments.
• Deliver technical projects on embedded processors while understanding processor architecture and memory.
