Job description
As a Qualcomm GPU Engineer, you will be involved in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and optimization of GPU cores. You will work within a collaborative engineering team to meet customer needs and drive innovation in graphics technology. This role requires a strong foundation in computer engineering principles and offers opportunities to develop software and test graphics functionality. You will also contribute to technical documentation and support the development of driver and compiler software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field is preferred.
- 1+ year of relevant GPU experience.
- 1+ year of experience in Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work.
Responsibilities
- Apply GPU knowledge to assist in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and optimization of GPU cores.
- Assist in building functional model simulations, developing software, and testing for various graphics to verify correctness.
- Program and run graphics tests using tools and methods to assess functionality, performance, and power.
- Collaborate with team members to guide implementation and ensure alignment with needs and goals.
- Assist in the development of driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
- Write technical documentation and feature descriptions for GPU projects.
