Job description
The Senior Program Manager role in Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) focuses on supporting the Cloud Infrastructure Acquisition organization at Microsoft. This position involves managing complex projects, acquisitions, and regional portfolio strategies to drive strategic execution and global impact. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in program management and cloud technology to synthesize feedback and ensure alignment among various stakeholders. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize and prioritize central feedback for existing and new region expansion strategies.
- Help manage complex projects, acquisition support processes, and shape regional portfolio strategies.
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and inclusive leadership.
- Direct teams to ensure alignment between the customer, the market, internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and Microsoft's goals and strategy.
- Provide expertise to help working teams validate the market size and opportunity of greatest value for the company.
- Ensure teams establish and monitor processes and hold stakeholders accountable for following the established schedule.
- Guide teams when tracking and managing dependencies to enable cohesive scenarios and mitigate risks.
- Influence teams to make adjustments when projects are not aligned to schedules or goals.
- Help lead governance programs and processes to ensure performance requirements and standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
