The Airfield Electrical Engineer role at Jacobs focuses on planning, designing, and reviewing large-scale aviation projects such as taxiways, runways, and airfield systems. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Minimum 5 years of aviation electrical engineering experience
- Demonstrated skill and working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively in person and in writing
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning, design, and construction of airfield lighting and navigational aid projects.
- Perform electrical design tasks in support of project and design managers.
- Prepare bidding documents including lighting layout, power distribution, and electrical facilities.
- Assist or oversee construction-related tasks including on-site construction observation.
- Review RFIs and material submittals, and prepare RFQs, field orders, and change orders.
