Job description
The Engineering Manager will lead a team within the Video Engineering group at Apple, focusing on data collection software, firmware, and hardware test environments for next-generation products. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a technical team and coordinate with vendors while ensuring smooth operations of test infrastructure. The manager will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality test data that supports machine learning model validation. Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years in an engineering or technical role.
- 5+ years in people management or team lead capacity.
- Experience with internal data collection software, firmware, and hardware test environments.
- Understanding of ML model and algorithm testing and validation.
- Ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience managing engineering or technical teams within a hardware development environment.
- Strong program management skills.
