Job description

Citi is seeking a development role within the Equity Finance Technology team for their Post Trade platform located in Tampa. The position involves collaborating with technologists across various locations and delivering technical solutions using agile methodologies. A strong expertise in Java is required, along with the ability to build business solutions in a high-pressure environment. The role also emphasizes compliance with regulations and maintaining the firm's reputation.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
  • Experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Exposure to AI solutions to accelerate development
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
  • Flexibility to work with a global team, across geographies and time zones

Responsibilities

  • Engineer the capabilities for the Trading platform as per the book of work
  • Conduct code reviews of development performed by others
  • Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and system processes
  • Provide expertise in area and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws
