Job description
The Vice President role in Citi's Productivity organization is pivotal for enhancing engagement, empowerment, and innovation within the company. This position involves driving workstreams and managing small projects that deliver significant business value and have executive-level visibility. The Vice President will work closely with senior leaders and will be responsible for leading day-to-day activities in a matrix management structure. The focus is on optimizing business processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 6 years in a major management consulting firm or equivalent experience in a large Financial Services company.
- Prior experience leading and managing workstreams and small project teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Mastery in the use of PowerPoint for development of project presentations and deliverables.
- Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree with high marks in an analytical field; Master's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and manage all phases of workstreams or small projects.
- Develop and maintain rigorous project plans and manage tactical project requirements.
- Independently think through and structure analysis plans and drive solutions to problems.
- Lead the analysis of complex sets of data and business processes independently.
- Help teams to synthesize clear findings and recommendations from complex result sets.
- Drive the development of the best solutions and communicate to project sponsors.
- Manage engagement of key stakeholders and drive adoption of recommendations.
- Create and manage the process for sharing re-usable intellectual capital.
- Optimize and design business and operating models.
- Develop and assess innovation opportunities and identify new sources of growth.
- Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to identify significant opportunities.
