The Tools and Automation Engineer will be part of the Cloud Quality Engineering team at iCloud, focusing on building high-quality automation frameworks and tools for iOS, macOS, and Web. This role involves improving test coverage, reliability, and engineering efficiency through automation initiatives. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable automation solutions and enhance product quality. A passion for software quality and solving complex engineering challenges is essential.

• 4+ years of experience in Software QA, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
• Experience developing automated tests and tooling using Swift and/or Python.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using XCTest and Xcode.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building robust, maintainable, and scalable automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with API, integration, and UI automation testing strategies.
• Strong technical understanding across Apple platforms including iOS and macOS.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

• Contribute to automation frameworks, tooling, and infrastructure for iCloud's core products.
• Improve test coverage, reliability, and engineering efficiency through automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable automation solutions.
