Job description
As a Design Verification Engineer, you will be integral to the verification efforts within the silicon design group, focusing on complex SOCs and wireless systems. You will collaborate with various product development teams to enhance the product experience for customers globally. The role involves crafting reusable UVM testbenches and implementing coverage-driven test cases to ensure high-quality tape-out readiness. You will gain extensive knowledge in SOC architectures, wireless protocols, and low-power methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
- Dedicated/hands-on ASIC DV experience
- Advanced knowledge of HVL methodology (UVM/OVM) with recent experience in UVM
- Some experience with formal verification is a plus
- Proven track record of working full ASIC cycle from concept to tape-out to bring-up
- Experience taping out large SOC systems with embedded processor cores
- Hands-on verification experience of PCIe, Bus Fabric, NOC, AHB, AXI in UVM environment
- In-depth knowledge and experience working with low power design and UPF integration
- Low Power Verification experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Verify a set of complex SOCs and integrate sophisticated IP level DV environments.
- Craft highly reusable best-in-class UVM testbenches and implement effective coverage-driven test cases.
- Deploy new tools and methodologies to improve quality of tape-out readiness.
- Create coverage driven verification plans from specifications and achieve coverage targets.
- Architect UVM based highly reusable test benches and integrate complex multi-instance VIPs.
- Work with design, architecture, software, firmware, and external IP delivery teams to verify overall SOC design.
- Collaborate with DV methodology architects to improve verification flow.
