Job description

This role involves leading the development of Intel's neuromorphic AI execution stack for edge and robotic systems. The team focuses on creating a next-generation runtime stack that integrates firmware and framework components. Candidates will be responsible for defining the technical vision and architecture while also contributing to hands-on implementation. This position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware and software, pushing the boundaries of AI technology.

Requirements

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and shipping AI runtime software for accelerators, GPUs, or other complex hardware.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the architecture of complex software systems.
  • 5+ years of experience owning the performance and production quality of accelerator software.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade systems software in C/C++.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with agentic software engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the runtime stack.
  • Architect and develop the runtime and performance tooling.
  • Own the contracts between the runtime stack and the compiler.
  • Collaborate with compiler, hardware, and application teams to translate workload requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership by establishing engineering practices and mentoring engineers.
