Job description
The MDCE Metals Deposition Engineer role at Intel focuses on enhancing process performance and manufacturability for advanced metals deposition modules across various technology nodes. This position is integral to the Manufacturing Development Customer Engineering team, which aims to optimize processes from product qualification to high-volume manufacturing. The engineer will collaborate closely with technology development and manufacturing teams to ensure successful technology transfer and ramp-up. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering/science field.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process development, or technology development.
- 4+ years direct experience in metals deposition modules.
- Hands-on experience with thin film deposition technologies in frontend or middle-of-line, backend metals, or other critical films.
- 3+ years of experience with one or more deposition technologies: PVD, CVD, and/or ALD for metals.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with technology development and manufacturing members to achieve common goals.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to establish strong working relationships.
