The Senior Thin Film Metrology Engineer will support the 18A technology within the Thin Film Metrology area at Intel. This role involves driving metrology execution, including recipe development, process qualification, and technical problem solving. The engineer will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure successful execution during early high-volume manufacturing ramp and sustaining production phases. The position is critical for supporting Intel's IDM 2.0 strategy and advancing manufacturing excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering/science field.
• 4+ years of experience in thin film metrology techniques and applications.
• 4+ years of experience in advanced-node semiconductor manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and statistics, with exposure to machine learning being a plus.

• Perform detailed data analysis using statistical and data mining tools to identify root causes of parametric mismatches.
• Provide technical guidance on thin film process monitoring, tool matching, and metrology optimization.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects for improved yield performance.
• Design and implement metrology models to deliver quick feedback on product integrity.
• Collaborate closely with Technology Development teams, Yield organizations, Process Integration teams, and Fab module teams.
