Job description

In this role at KLA, you will contribute to the Semiconductor Products and Customers business unit, focusing on advancing business priorities through high-impact work. You will be part of the Film and Scatterometry Technology division, which provides essential metrology solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. Your main focus will be on customer education, problem resolution, and supporting various testing and characterization activities. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with customers and develop training modules for new engineers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Science or Engineering or a Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience in engineering applications.
  • Good working knowledge of testing techniques and various applications.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in technical writing.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small projects and provide support during H2H, PLC, alpha characterization, beta testing, and gap analysis.
  • Contribute to test plan development and execute detailed characterization or field test plans with minimal supervision.
  • Respond to customer requests and perform routine to moderately complex problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Document technical work and create best known methods on released products.
  • Develop training modules and conduct training for new engineers.
  • Interact with customers to educate and coordinate activities.
  • Focus on improving customer relations and understanding customer needs.
