• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• 3+ years of experience in AWS technologies, such as Batch, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and SQS.
• MS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with scientific software such as bioinformatics tools, high performance computing, or data visualization libraries.
• Experience in databases like NoSQL or PostgreSQL, with strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.

• Design and build scalable ML inference pipelines in collaboration with scientists and engineers.
• Architect and improve the metadata systems that track workflows and their outputs.
• Evaluate and integrate generative AI tools to accelerate development or improve code quality.
• Contribute to every phase of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to operations.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor teammates, and document software for broader team maintenance.
