The Solutions Design Team at Amazon Robotics is seeking an innovative engineer to design next-generation Fulfillment Centers. This role focuses on creating high-performance physical systems and optimizing robotic material handling solutions. The team emphasizes collaboration and ownership in solving complex problems, utilizing advanced technologies and data analytics. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art systems that enhance customer experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as an industrial engineer, process engineer, systems engineer, manufacturing engineer, project manager, or related occupation.
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, and commercial off-the-shelf technologies such as Tableau and SQL.
• Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.
• Master’s degree in engineering, operations, or a related field together with at least 1 year of progressive experience.
• Experience working with the designs of complex automated material handling equipment and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
• Demonstrated use of analytical skills to solve complex engineering problems.

• Evaluate and create physical processing and material handling solutions using premier technology, robotics, and data analytics.
• Identify and examine key operational and financial metrics as part of program and feature selection.
• Coordinate and partner with systems and operations engineering teams to develop product features and optimize performance.
• Manage and assist with multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Develop models as required to solve complex problems.
