Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans for boards, sleds, trays and systems from prototype through high-volume production
  • Own the functional test content for assigned products including device and interface enumeration
  • Design and build automated test suites and station software using Python, C/C++ and shell scripting
  • Deploy tests into high-volume manufacturing and sustain them once deployed
  • Drive system-level and workload-based functional testing across hardware, firmware and software integration
  • Debug failures across the hardware/firmware boundary and perform failure analysis
  • Validate new and changed tests against known-good and known-bad units
  • Analyze test and yield data to identify coverage gaps and own corrective actions
  • Partner with contract manufacturers and ODM functional teams to implement test solutions
  • Maintain clear test documentation and procedures for manufacturing teams

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs.
