NVIDIA is seeking a security software engineer to join their GPU Firmware team, which focuses on securing and innovating the boot process for GPUs. The role involves developing secure firmware solutions in resource-constrained environments, ensuring the integrity of the boot process across various GPU products. The engineer will work closely with hardware and software teams to enhance security measures and contribute to the overall security posture of the products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical components that power high-performance computing and gaming solutions.

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in developing device BIOS, firmware, or other low-level software.
• 2+ years of experience in building secure firmware and working with hardware security components.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Understanding of secure software fundamentals including cryptography, authentication/attestation, and common software security vulnerabilities.

• Design, develop, test, debug, and optimize GPU firmware throughout the entire GPU lifecycle.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the security posture of firmware and hardware that form the root of trust for NVIDIA products.
• Improve team software processes and core infrastructure by enhancing build systems, regression farms, and security test infrastructure.
• Participate in in-depth security reviews of software, hardware, processes, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA’s and third-party vendors’ hardware and software teams to improve security across hardware, BootROMs, and software stacks.
