Job description

The role is part of the new Agentic Engineering team within NVIDIA's Deep Learning Framework Group, focusing on automating code generation, testing, and tuning across various frameworks and tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence foundational technical aspects within a high-autonomy team. The team collaborates with early-adopter engineering teams to create scalable infrastructure that integrates modern AI into engineering practices. Candidates will work on multi-agent orchestration and compiler infrastructure, targeting NVIDIA's latest GPUs.

Requirements

  • MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience
  • Strong Python development skills
  • Working knowledge of GPUs or other highly data-parallel systems
  • Demonstrated projects or work experience using and supporting AI systems
  • Track record of shipping complex projects with minimal direction
  • Experience building tools or systems shaped by direct partnership with internal customer or user teams
  • Examples of leading technical work through changing requirements
  • Experience in multi-agent orchestration frameworks or LLM-based workflow automation
  • Experience in compiler infrastructure or program transformation
  • Experience in autonomous search or optimization over high-dimensional parameter spaces
  • Experience in hardware-aware performance optimization for deep learning workloads
  • Experience in code generation systems or domain-specific languages

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of early-adopter engineering teams and identify friction points for agentic workflows.
  • Iterate with teams on proof points to validate or revise plans as requirements evolve.
  • Agent-ify compiler infrastructure to enable autonomous agents for high-dimensional optimizations.
  • Drive multi-agent orchestration using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Integrate systems into git-native workflows and CI pipelines for real GPU testing.
  • Contribute to cross-organizational sharing of reusable agentic methodologies.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
