The Human Performance and Experience (HPX) team at NVIDIA Research is seeking passionate individuals for cross-disciplinary research in the intersection of human and machine vision. The role involves working closely with a diverse team of research scientists and engineers, focusing on AI innovation and human interaction. Candidates will engage in critical thinking to address research questions and connect findings to real-world applications. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to transformative AI projects.

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or equivalent academic program with a track record of research and publications.
• Deep interest in gaming and/or human behavior in related application domains.
• Training or systematic knowledge in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency with Python, Rust, and/or C++.
• Experience with AI model training and evaluation frameworks, like PyTorch.

• Decompose research questions into smaller, manageable parts and tackle them iteratively.
• Think critically to identify unseen gaps and creatively bridge them with high-impact solutions.
• Connect with researchers and product engineers to ground research findings in real-world problems.
• Lead knowledge dissemination efforts, with options for conference, journal, and in-house publication.
