The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Software Engineer to work on their Autonomous Driving Platform software. This role involves implementing security features that interact with various sensors for self-driving cars. The engineer will collaborate with multiple teams across the software stack, focusing on safety and performance. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology in the autonomous vehicle sector.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience working on system software.
• Excellent programming skills in C++, C, and Python.
• Experience in architectural security analysis techniques such as threat modeling and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Solid understanding of Linux, QNX, ROS, and/or real-time operating systems.
• Experience in developing user-space system software.
• Knowledge about embedded system programming and parallel computing.

• Integrate security features into the AV driving software stack.
• Develop and improve security work-products for the AV stack.
• Work on security-related software code from sensor abstraction layers to middleware.
• Guide other teams on security governance topics and mechanism implementation.
• Collaborate with hardware, platform software, product, safety, performance, algorithms, and cloud teams.
