The engineer will collaborate with automotive OEMs and internal teams to enhance edge device capabilities. The position is critical in addressing optimization challenges and delivering effective solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 12 years of industry experience, including at least 8 years in deep learning model optimization or inference engineering.
- Over 5 years of expertise in embedded/edge software with production inference solutions in power-limited environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary deep learning architectures, including transformers and vision encoders.
- Expert knowledge of GPU architecture, CUDA, and performance optimization tools like TensorRT.
Responsibilities
- Engage with automotive OEMs and robotics associates to analyze and improve deep learning models on NVIDIA platforms.
- Drive performance benchmarking efforts to achieve leading results on MLPerf Edge and industry benchmarks.
- Investigate new deep learning architectures regarding compilation feasibility and latency on target SOCs.
- Collaborate with compiler, runtime, and hardware teams to link model-level insights with platform capabilities.
- Build and deploy inference solutions on Jetson, DRIVE, and GPU + ARM platforms for AV and robotics workloads.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
