The Network Development Engineer role focuses on integrating and testing satellite communications and ground-network capabilities. The engineer will work with various technologies including RF, networking, and cloud services to validate features from lab integration to end-to-end testing. The Satellite Systems Integration and Test team aims to ensure reliable connectivity for Amazon's Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy troubleshooting complex systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols
• 4+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
• 1+ years of experience with automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl

• Own end-to-end integration and validation of satellite communications features across various systems.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues using packet captures, system logs, and RF measurements.
• Automate test execution, data collection, and performance analysis using Python or similar languages.
• Collaborate with RF and test-equipment vendors to enhance lab capabilities and configurations.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to cross-functional teams and mentor engineers on best practices.
