AWS is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Products & Services team, which focuses on innovative Mechanical Cooling and Controls systems for data centers. This role involves leading product lifecycle engineering for mechanical infrastructure solutions and collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and specialists. The engineer will provide support for AWS data centers and ensure the continuous improvement of mechanical products. This position requires hands-on experience and a strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Systems.
• Experience in data center design, HVAC design, and related product development.

• Provide mechanical infrastructure support to AWS data centers.
• Collaborate with the product development team to understand all facets of each product.
• Support operations including failure mode and root cause analysis.
• Work with global mechanical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Contribute to a cycle of continuous improvement at a global scale.
