This role involves building a platform that enables engineering teams at Amazon Fulfillment to create and deploy their own AI agents without writing model code. The team is focused on developing IRIS AI Studio, a self-service platform that allows teams to connect their knowledge and tools to create production-grade agents. The position requires navigating the balance between flexibility for advanced use cases and simplicity for general users. The work spans the full stack, from the user experience to the infrastructure that supports reliable operations.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling of systems
• 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related occupation
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Build and maintain the platform that allows teams to create their own AI agents.
• Ensure the platform is flexible enough for advanced use cases while remaining user-friendly.
• Work across the full stack, from the user interface to the runtime infrastructure.
• Own problems end-to-end, from design through production.
