The AWS Networking organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Amazon Dedicated Cloud Networking team. This role involves defining technical architecture and building systems for managing mission-critical networks with high availability. The engineer will work closely with software development teams to create automated solutions that enhance network security and availability. The position requires a strong background in distributed systems and a passion for coding and problem-solving.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team.
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

• Be responsible for the design, implementation, and quality of services delivered.
• Learn, design, and build cloud-computing systems for diverse customers.

• Collaborate with Network Engineering teams for smooth software roll-outs.
