• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design, develop, and maintain highly available scalable backend services for Amazon Connect
• Own the full software development lifecycle for assigned projects from design to deployment
• Write clean, testable production-quality code and conduct code reviews for peers
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Identify and resolve complex technical problems across distributed systems
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions
• Participate in on-call rotations and operational reviews to improve operational efficiency
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning for the team's services
• Write and maintain design documents and operational documentation
