The Software Development Engineer (SDE) internship at Amazon offers an opportunity to work on innovative technology solutions that impact millions of customers worldwide. • Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in academic or professional settings.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for a maximum of 12 weeks.
• Expected degree conferral date between October 2027 and September 2029.
• Must have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in studies after the internship concludes.
• Experience from previous technical internships or demonstrated project experience.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, and deployment processes.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to design and build innovative products and services.
• Break down complex problems into well-defined, solvable components before implementation.
• Contribute to the design and development of scalable and reliable services.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
