AWS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Solutions team, which focuses on innovation in Mechanical Cooling and Controls systems for data centers. This role involves providing engineering ownership and continuous improvement for Mechanical infrastructure products within AWS's expanding footprint. The team collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure product reliability and performance while driving business improvement initiatives. Candidates should have hands-on experience in Mechanical and Manufacturing processes, particularly related to cooling systems.

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities.
• 4+ years of project experience with cooling systems or components.
• Experience working on/developing validation/testing requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience developing Mechanical and/or Mechanical Cooling Products.

• Provide Mechanical infrastructure support to AWS data centers.
• Collaborate with the product development team to understand product facets.
• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Support Operations including failure mode and root cause analysis.
• Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to design product improvements.
