The DevOps engineer will join the Platform Engineering & Support Services team at Amazon, focusing on supporting software applications related to fulfillment services. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving production software issues while developing monitoring solutions and automating operational activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to enhance current software and improve support processes. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues.
• Develop monitoring solutions and perform software maintenance.
• Implement fixes for internally developed code in languages such as Perl, Ruby, C/C++, and JAVA.
• Perform SQL queries and resolve technical challenges.
• Build and develop tools to automate daily operational activities.
• Collaborate with other engineers to deploy software through automated systems.
• Seek out new approaches to automate fixes for operational issues.
