The Propellant Loading Engineer at Amazon Leo is responsible for performing satellite propellant loading operations and system tests. This role involves collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the safe and efficient loading of propellants for satellite launches. The engineer will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiency. The Propellant Loading Team is dedicated to supporting the Amazon Leo constellation by ensuring high-quality propellant loading processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 2+ years’ experience working with mechanical and/or propulsion or pneumatic systems
• 1+ years’ experience authoring and executing test procedures that verify test requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport
• Ability and willingness to comply with the Government of French Guiana vaccination mandates
• Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks

• Work with the engineering team to plan and optimize workstation layouts for intended throughput capacities
• Define and implement assembly, integration, and test processes
• Specify and procure equipment and systems to meet program development requirements
• Interface with facilities personnel in site usage and integration flow
• Plan takt time and cost optimization strategies
• Define and implement Work Order and automated documentation processes
• Certify payload compliance and sign-off
• Resolve anomalies and implement corrective actions
