This role is for a lead software development engineer on the Quick team, focusing on the development of Quick Spaces, a new Generative AI application. The team aims to transform enterprise operations by creating an innovative platform for knowledge organization and sharing. Candidates will work closely with scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The position offers high visibility and impact, leading customer-facing initiatives within the Amazon Quick organization.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design and develop features for Quick Spaces in the Amazon Quick product
• Build experiences for customers to create, organize, share, and search their Spaces across web and desktop
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the development of new AI Services
• Drive software engineering best practices and instill best practices for software development
• Ensure designs meet requirements and deliver high-quality software on tight schedules
