The AWS Networking organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Amazon Dedicated Cloud Networking team. This role focuses on building systems that manage mission-critical networks with high availability and low operational overhead. The team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of networks connecting data centers and customer regions. Successful candidates will work on complex problems and develop automated solutions to enhance network security and availability.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.

• Lead projects to solve challenging distributed systems problems on a global scale.
• Develop best in class software systems for automating Amazon's network.
• Be responsible for the design, implementation, and quality of services delivered.
• Learn, design, and build cloud-computing systems for a diverse set of customers.
• Use data to measure success and take responsibility for the quality of services.
