As a Senior Infrastructure Reliability Engineer at AWS, you will focus on driving reliability risk identification and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to enhance datacenter availability and performance. The role involves conducting root cause analysis of equipment failures and implementing continuous improvements. You will also engage with internal and external partners to ensure high standards of safety and reliability.

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents

• Drive reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and implement continuous improvements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive product specification and risk identification plans
• Develop and implement analytical and empirical approaches for product quality and reliability risk assessment
• Monitor product performance in the field and drive root cause analysis of critical failures
• Establish critical to quality and reliability metrics based on system-level performance requirements
