The Software Development Engineer role in the Frontier ADC team focuses on delivering AWS GenAI and Agentic AI services to government customers in GovCloud and isolated environments. The team is dedicated to innovating solutions that leverage cloud computing and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will work on building scalable distributed systems while ensuring an excellent customer experience. This position requires a strong background in software development and a passion for solving complex technical problems.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl

• Build innovative solutions and expand services into GovCloud and isolated regions
• Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions within the team
• Develop, build, and operate AWS Frontier AI services for secure environments
• Work cross-functionally to resolve technical issues and improve customer experience
• Lead teams to solve difficult technical problems related to AWS service builds and operations
