The Quality Assurance Tech is responsible for performing inspections of parts, assemblies, and materials to ensure compliance with specifications and engineering drawings. This role involves identifying and documenting nonconformances, communicating findings to various stakeholders, and proposing corrective solutions. The position requires the use of various measurement tools and techniques, as well as participation in continuous improvement efforts. The Quality Assurance Tech plays a crucial role in maintaining quality standards within the manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment.

• 2+ years of experience in a quality inspection role in manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Experience in Unix
• Experience scripting in modern programming languages
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with precision torque, measurement and inspection devices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Perform inspections per documented inspection instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, and control plans using appropriate measurement tools and techniques.
• Identify, classify, and document nonconformances accurately in internal quality systems.
• Communicate inspection results and nonconformance findings to engineering, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Propose mitigations, dispositions, or corrective solutions for identified nonconformances.
• Operate and maintain inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
• Maintain inspection records, certificates of conformance, and traceability documentation.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in accordance with AS9102 or equivalent standards.
• Monitor and flag trends in nonconformance data to support continuous improvement efforts.
