• 3+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with prototyping and implementation
• Experience using one or more CAD technologies such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino
• Knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems design
• Experience communicating technical concepts clearly
• Experience with full lifecycle project management
• Experience evaluating design and performance tradeoffs for hardware systems

• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate sensors and control systems
• Design parts for various manufacturing processes including 3D printing
• Source components and manage production timelines with suppliers worldwide
• Perform life-cycle testing and quality assurance to validate designs
• Oversee the transition of designs from prototype to mass production
• Maintain detailed design documentation including CAD models and test data
