As a Senior Infrastructure Reliability Engineer at AWS, you will focus on enhancing the reliability of datacenter infrastructure equipment. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to identify and mitigate reliability risks, ensuring optimal performance for AWS customers. The role involves conducting root cause analysis of equipment failures and driving continuous improvements. You will also engage with internal and external partners to establish product specifications and risk management strategies.

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
• Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Mechanical, Reliability or related Engineering discipline

• Drive reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis of critical equipment failures and implement continuous improvements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive product specification and risk identification plans
• Evaluate product design quality and reliability risks as well as manufacturing process-related issues
• Develop datacenter system level reliability models and conduct related risk analysis
• Monitor product performance in the field and drive corrective and preventive actions for critical failures
